Spain?
Vacation in Spain? No, this is our entrance.
Three years ago we signed a contract to join the glass fibre user group :). After that we got a confirmation one year later, and had a site inspection, with pictures and protocol, another year later.
Nearly two weeks ago a direct neighbour got his glass fibre laid through his garden (but only to the house wall, the rest will come "later"). So I discussed with the workers my situation. (Partly with the help of a lady who spoke Rumanian and Spanish, the languages the workers knew only.) They showed me their (very rudimentary) map, from which I learned that our house was going to be connected to the network from the wrong side. Because it was Saturday they said their boss would come the week after to discuss further.
Earlier this week (no, no boss showed up) I went to look for a boss amongst the gentlemen working on the glass fibre network somewhere else in our local area. Again in my best English, them in English plus Spanish, we discussed the same. They too promised to take care.
Yesterday we found some strange signs, "DP6 ?", right before our entrance. Today the planner came again. He agreed that the plan was indeed the wrong side and that the fibre should come from the other side. I showed him where water and gas came into the house, and where an electricity cable was to be circumvented.
And why "aqua"? Nearly the whole team speaks Spanish. There are some from Rumania too, but communication is in Spanish.
