From the school of hard knocks

I’m not sure what his circumstances are but this young man is living on the streets. He approached me as I was taking another photo and said something about how nice my subject was. He went on for a bit longer but I couldn’t make out what he was saying.

He kept a far away smile on his face and then broke into a wide smile (which I wish I’d captured) as he wished me a wonderful day. I hope he will be alright…
