High-tech

A little bit personal, but I hope you don't mind a close-up of my ear.  

I got hearing aids yesterday - aren't they tiny!  The black bit above my ear belongs to my glasses, the little black bit inside my ear is the hearing aid itself, and the receiver is the little silver bit just behind my ear at the top. With my hair down, you can't see them at all. 

I've taken to them really well - funny story - the Rower and I were in a cafe this morning for a cup of coffee and a long black (that's the same as an Americano by the way); and I could actually hear the conversations from the neighbouring tables. 

It really made me laugh.  I think people might have thought I was slightly hysterical.  But it just seemed hilarious to me.
