Last day in Maidstone
Early start to avoid traffic for my last day in Maidstone. Met Colin from Step Toes - (he knows the price of everything but understandably not the sentimental value) to arrange the clearance of furniture. The new owners are a young couple and are pleased to have some of the things and it is good to know that they will continue to be treasured. For example the 3 piece suite, dining table, garden tools, and electrical appliances. Post it notes identify the items and they are scattered around the house.
I collected a car load, tea set, family tree records, and so many photos! Today's blip is a photo from one of my sister's albums. Us 2 with our best friends, taken by dad just before we were off out for a meal to say farewell to Ro before she left for the army. I shared the pictures with Catherine on Messenger a lovely excuse to reminisce and for a catch-up.
Home to find both the M25 and A12 had police road closures. So a long journey and a chance to process and catch-up by listening to my Borrowbox book.
