A shady walk

Last night Felix arrived from London, a friend of Adam's from school. The boys got to bed quite late so we let them have a bit of a lie-in before we set off on a hike. It was hot and sunny again so we chose a shady walk, one that meandered alongside a stream through the woods - but then rose quite steeply which was rather hot work. Halfway through the walk the clouds covered the sun and it cooled down a little. It ended up being nearly a 6 mile walk and we arrived back at the apartment ravenous for lunch.

Gavin and Thomas have now gone downhill biking, while Adam and Felix have gone to the village pool - I think they are hoping to spot some pretty Swiss girls there. Adam had a unfortunate crash downhill biking yesterday and has a nasty graze on his shoulder - this is usually how our holiday starts, either sunburn or a biking injury - I should be used to it by now.
