A sizeable gull colony is a regular feature of the Low Springs pastures during the winter but I don’t often see them standing on the surrounding walls. I think these four are all Common Gulls.

Nothing special for Halloween, apart from continuing this year’s spooky reading with H.P. Lovecraft’s Mountains of Madness, and watching Spirited Away.
