Drve In

This is a friends drive, sadly in need of some TLC, originally laid in the early 80s, now sagging and undermined by countless ant nests. She asked if I could repair it. Take the bricks up, stack them, remove old sand, repair broken drain pipes ,replace aggregate and level, relay bricks,in fine Aggregate ( no ants nests) and finish. Time needed for 2 men? About 3 days, will I do it ? No!! 10 years ago I would have considered it, 20 years ago I would have snapped it up, a nice little earner! But now, 75, dodgy back and knees, I think I will pass, let my friend who is a mere lad of 54, do it.
