Backblipped Friday 1st November

A day of travelling which wasn’t too taxing but involved lots of waiting about. Breakfast eaten I finished the packing and we chilled until it was time to check out and get a taxi to the airport. Check in was painless and despite our bags being slightly overweight, they were accepted without any issues.

Grabbed a bite to eat when we got through security and it wasn’t too long a.wait till we boarded the flight to Heathrow. A rather long, boring wait for our connecting flight to Edinburgh and although we took off about 30 minutes later than scheduled, we landed a little early. Luggage arrived in good time and after a quick stop at the supermarket to pick up bread and milk we were home for just after 10pm.

I hit the cases emptied and the first load of washing in the machine before heading for bed.
