Smoothed by Time

The time of my long exposure that is.  I went without Mrs B (she has a bad cough still) to Mass in Bridport, only to find that it wasn't until this evening – a typical error of mine, not reading notices properly.  So I wandered Bridport a little, checking South Street for aerial obstructions for when I video the Remembrance Sunday parade with my drone; then I headed to West Bay.  Again.

And it was very calm!  But I managed to use a ND filter to lengthen the exposure to 1s or so to smooth the (already smooth) sea.  

There is evidence of more rockfalls, but not as big as those near Sidmouth ! And nothing compares with the disastrous floods and earth slips in Spain . . .
