Misty

Every day this week has started with mist and by 11.30 summer arrives. Today’s photo was taken on our walk with Carmen and Mouse, and being a bank holiday here in France, everywhere was noticeably quieter.
It was actually too hot to be working in full sun underneath the hedge, which is where I spent most of the day. I’ve now cleared the brambles from where they are rooted under half the hedge, and I’ll do the other half tomorrow hopefully.
