Christmas is early this year

Will these gloomy days never end! Dull and drizzly all day - the only time I've been out of the house was to take an EB of my Christmas cactus out on the deck fence.
 
Spent too large a part of the day at the computer. Memoirs I don't mind, but trying to work out how to deal with the recording of the judging for our 'Close-up' competition at the Photo Club on Wednesday I could have done without. 
 
Because we don't invite judges to appear in person any more - as distances are greater up here they have to stay over and our club can't afford it - I WeTransfer the images and the judge will record his judging and send it back as an mp4 file. We play the recording and show the relevant images. 
 
For some reason the link wouldn't open on my computer, but he eventually got over that one, then it wouldn't transfer to the stick which I take to the club. I won't go into details, but I was at it for hours before we finally worked out a solution.
