Autumn Black And White

It has been so dull, so grey and flat today that I thought a mono treatment would suit the subject better.

I was on my rounds delivering the monthly newsletter to houses in the village, and this is one of the humble dwellings I go to. Or should I say, the approach to said humble dwelling.

The house is behind grand ornate gates and out of respect for the impoverished  owners I pointed the camera downhill rather than up.

The driveway is several hundred yards long and these fabulous trees provide a stunning approach.

I wonder what it would look like with a Jag conveniently placed.....watch this space!
