Friday: Hello Chickens

Another dry and grey day.

I started clearing the honeysuckle, Fuschia, jasmine and grasses from my “sunken garden” at the front - it will take more clearing before it is ready for planting. The birds had a brilliant time searching for earthworms and insects, there were lots of blackbirds, sparrows, blue tits, Robins, Dunnock and a little group of long tailed tits in the damson tree.

Another load of washing dried outdoors and continued reading yesterday’s book.
