Autumn

The colours on the trees in the drive where Little Ro lives are just beautiful!

I went to get my nails done, and Little Ro had the baby, then we popped to the bakery for a coffee before I headed home.

Lucy was there when we got home, and helped by hoofing my Waitrose bag through the front door as I passed my dad the baby in his carrier and untangled my handbag and the baby bag from it. She was a bit preoccupied later as she heard the trick-or-treaters starting, and felt she was missing out. I was trying to explain how the younger children were probably going out first, and that her mum would be taking her in a little bit. Hard to understand when it's dark by 4:30pm! She helped me bath the baby  - well, she helped a little and then returned to scoping out the festivities through the windows.

Just before that I went up to change the baby's nappy, only to discover he had done his first poop up his back...! Although we were laughing, I said to Lucy 'help! Lou! Get help! Get Gramma, get Grandad!". Luckily my dad came upstairs and helped me peel his bodysuit off and clean him up before his bath. While I cleaned up and got the bath prepped, my dad was entertaining him, and as I walked past, I was just about to suggest he covered him with something when the inevitable happened - a huge wee all over the changing mat!

Half an hour later we had a calm, clean and ready for bed baby... who then screamed for the next 6 hours until 10:30pm....
