Fire Tender in the Park

Despite the clocks going back it’s still quite dark while walking to the swimming pool through the park. I could see these lights but only on getting closer did I realise that it was a fire tender. I didn’t have time to find out what was going on and still get to the pool for the opening.

On the way back I checked out the area and was saddened to see that some of the play equipment appeared to have been set on fire. I’ll always struggle to understand what possesses people to destroy equipment, like this.
