Trevi Fountain
A busy day of sightseeing in Rome. Started by going for a run in Parco della Caffarella in the morning. Then after lunch I wandered into town letting the geocaches decide where I ended up.
I firstly ended up at Buco della serratura dell’Ordine di Malta. It is famous for having a view through the keyhole of the Magistral Villa. The view has the perfect alignment with St Peters Basilica. It was rediculously busy so I didn't stand in the queue and continued onwards.
Next I ended up at Tiber Island but it was getting dark so didn't hang around.
I continued to Altare della Patria, a massive monument built between 1885 and 1935 to honour Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of a unified Italy.
I forgot to take a photo though so my final sight worth seeing was the Trevi fountain which was also very busy even with barriers so you can't get near it.
