Liftoff

Happy November, Samhain blessings, glad All Saints' Day and may anything else you celebrate be happy!

I celebrate new moons by allowing myself a day off all jobs, so after work I went to a nearby café and spent a pleasant while reading. Hadn't intended to sort my sewing chest when I got home but it happened anyway. I cleared out some rubbish, organised, rediscovered and am generally feeling quite inspired. 

D was busy in the kitchen making tricolour bread (pink with beetroot, green with spinach, yellow with turmeric) which turned out so pretty. I made a pumpkin soup to go with it and we finished off the pumpkin pie. 

Now for a quiet evening knitting my mittens (and desperately hoping I have enough yarn to finish!).
