Day 19
Spent the morning sorting, packing washing away and getting ready to go up to Cass, Arthurs Pass, and stay 2 nights at the Les Moxham Memorial Hut. A great little place, with snow on the ground, very pretty. The men went up in our car, and I went with Dale. We had a good drive, after shopping for supplies in Christchurch. The drive felt like going home, I lived up there for 4 months in 1998. We watched the train going past, and had a bit of a walk around.
Mr S cooked Alplermaccheronen, and we slept, in a cute shepherds hut out the back. It’s well equipped with shower, indoor loo, kitchen and fire place.
