Castell Coch - looking up the drawbridge

Working in Castell Coch today. Took this image just as they opened.

The lighting was mixed. Very strong sunlight on parts of the castle with dark shadows under the trees. Storm and rain clouds starting to gather behind. Bit of work in levels to get rid of all the blinkies.

It's not really a castle but Lord Bute's detached house! There was an original castle on the site but this was built over many years ago. You can see more info here.
