A Garden In Reverse
Today's image was taken on another lone local photographic safari, when I headed out to catch the last of the late afternoon light, outside the memorial garden at the Royal British Legion village (which has been a regular source of images for me) not far from our house and appears to be a bit of an optical illusion.
It's actually the garden's sign reflected back from the surface of a Tommy statue made of 1.5 mm steel in the foreground with the golden light picking up the details of the garden beyond. It was a complete stroke of luck that I captured it as the light faded again just a few seconds later.
