John was my roommate at the Defense Language Institute in 1989. He was hilarious, into comics, girl crazy, and a just a lot of fun. We fell out unfortunately - I had only been homeless a few months prior and I had a lot of crazy to sort out. We lost touch to my regret after we were sent to different bases - I hope he's well, because man - we had a hell of a time in Monterey.
