Wee G and S

Had a good nights sleep!

We met up with G and Zoe for breakfast. There was a couple of other guests staying at the P Inn too. It’s a fairly new hotel in the centre of Berwick, handy for walking to the lighthouse which seemingly is called the Lowry Walk. The hotel opened just two weeks before Covid, then closed for three months….

We had a good chat about the wedding. Zoe had to get home to Markinch for the dog as her husband was away to work so she left us and G, S and I checked out and went for a walk. It was pretty windy but glorious sunshine. We walked to the lighthouse again, same as our walk yesterday.

We then had a walk along the High Street in Berwick. Lots of charity shops, not many independent ones, but same as Perth, they were all in neighbouring streets. G bought a couple of sparkly outfits for her daughter Rose in the British Heart shop. One was a lovely John Lewis top and a gold shimmery one for Christmas from Next. They looked brand new.

We said our goodbyes to G, and headed home up the A1. We didn’t have any stops and arrived home around 3:30.

Went home first for a cuppa and then down to get Lucca who was pleased to see us.

We were both exhausted and early to bed at night.

One year ago today we were in Venice!!
