Köln Day 1 - the bit the tourists don't see

After a night in the IBIS it was off to St. Pancras - picked up the Eurostar to Brussels. Decent journey. 
Time in Brussels Midi, which was much busier than last time I went, then DBahn through to Cologne. The Dom is always impressive when you step out of the train station. Checked into accommodation, just five minutes walk away. View of street art and train tracks. Out later for beers and to meet Polish Pamela and then a bier hall with the classic beermat tally system.
