Silly
I’ve done some silly things for silly Saturday before but I’ve excelled myself today by performing thoracic surgery on a really rather lovely Teddy which had the most irritating little musical gadget inserted into its chest cavity.
The grandchildren love it. Or rather loved playing it to annoy everyone. It was a very dreary little ditty.
After this week’s grandchildren’s visit, I could procrastinate no longer.
“Right I’m going in.” I declared as wearing an evil grin, I took a large pair of scissors and a stitch unpicker to it .
It was in a sort of tea bag like container and was easily removed in one deft tug.
After some (in) expert suturing the patient is recovering and hopes to be completely silent for the next visitation of the little darlings.
The photo shows Teddy proudly holding the offending body part, rather like LooseCanon and his manky old appendix in a glass tube which he kept for years.
Thanks DavidC and his editor for hosting.
