Avoiding The Worst

I try hard to avoid unintended blips, but today probably falls squarely into that category.

I managed to avoid the obvious shots - of views from the aeroplane window, usually including the wing, in a vague attempt to emulate the wonderful aerial abstracts of Hans Strand; or spurious attempts to forge something interesting from the airport architecture; or worst still, an image of feet resting on a suitcase.

Whether my last ditch attempt is an any more worthy result, I rather doubt, but at the very least the subject matter originates in the natural world, a feature that was sadly lacking in any other aspect of the day.

What the shrub is I cannot say and wait to be informed by someone with more knowledge than I. My wild guess is a cotoneaster of some description.
