Berry nice

We did finally get some sunshine for a while this afternoon .... just right for a wander :-)

Saw quite a few birds about ... Blue Tit .... Great Tit .... Long-tailed Tit ..... Kestrel ... Buzzard & a Woodpecker but none of them wanted their photos taken! Even the Robin wouldn't pose!

We did see these berries almost hiding under a hedge ... thought they made a colourful blip :-)

We climbed onto the river bank .... saw a Little Egret (too far away to get a photo) & then heard a "peep peep" & saw a flash of blue!

The Kingfisher!

It flew past .... landed on the other side of the river .... dived .... caught a fish & disappeared ... really pleased we have seen it again! Maybe one day I can get a photo!
