Byway not highway

A lost car driver seemed surprised when I told him the lane isn’t open to 4 wheeled vehicles. Had he gone much further he would have found out for himself given the squelchiness of the mud. Needless to say the dogs enjoyed the muddiest part of the walk.

By the time we’d returned from the marsh, the farm gate was closed so no more cars will follow suit.
