birthday boy

Victor is 14 today. He trains for his swimming 4 mornings a week from 5 to 7 and Nicola brought him over this morning to see us, and for a breakfast. They stayed for a couple of hours before he went to football training from 10.30 to 12.30. He said he wanted surprises for his birthday so we got him a pair of binoculars, a freshwater fish identification book as he enjoys fishing, and a set of wooden musical spoons - parcel only arrived from Canada a couple of days ago. He seemed happy with everything :-)
He’s getting tall now, quite a bit taller than his mum and he’s catching me up!
