Evening practice

I had been on waiting list to play in the Prades TMC tournament. I unexpectedly got a message last night inviting me to play. It is a short format tournament with sets only going up to four games not six and a single decisive point at deuce. There are only two sets followed by a super tiebreak to 10 if necessary. That means that the matches are short and everyone plays at least three matches in the day. The atmosphere is relaxed and convivial and a sit down lunch is provided. It was a good day. I won one match and lost two to players who were better than me so no shame in that. I was back in time to join the evening bellringing practice. Now I will see if I can find some autumn international rugby highlights to watch.
