Hair of the dog

I was so much putting off this job that it suddenly grabbed me by the throat and told me to just get on with it.
Getting rid of Artex textured ceiling by… smoothing it over with Artex.
Ideally it should all be taken down and a new ceiling put up.
But that wouldn’t be ideal.
