Race Day

As we walked at Emsworth this morning, the end of season sailing regatta was starting. There was lots of boats vying for position at the start line and then finally the horn sounded and off they went, their brightly coloured spinnakers filling with wind as they made their way down the channel.

It’s been another grey day but a dry one and I’m most grateful for that.

Good to:
- Make leek and potato soup for lunch.
- To have a long chat with neighbours.
- To remember Mum today - she would have been 76 years old today. We celebrated by having a traditional family ‘Saturday night tea’.
