Bishop Hill and West Lomond Cloud Scraping

The day started so promising, but cloud moves in very quickly. Surprisingly still quite bright for the morning walk. However looking, the blip photo looking across the Firth of Forth to Fife, shows dark clouds heading south.

Sure enough after lunch, the clouds slowly darken. By the time I finish work, it is very dark. At least it is not raining. On the afternoon walk, there is a limited view to North Edinburgh, but that's it. AS we head to the café for Friday afternoon coffee and cake, mist rolls in. It swirls around the park. The café is very bright and warm. While we are there, drizzle arrives. As it is pretty dreich, after coffee, we head straight home.
