A day in the life

Spain

First cold night for a good while, we nearly had frost and autumn might finally be on us sometime next week. I've had a nice, musical morning, playing and listening to new and old songs.

This evening we're having the second film evening this week. The suggestion was some spanish horror movie, probably because of Haloween but I protested a little, since I don't feel Iwant or need to be scared artificially, for me looking at the state of the world and what we do to each other is scary enough for me. The film was actually changed, others agreed that we needed something different and the choice was to see an english film instead called "The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry" about a man who was on his way to the postbox but ended up walking 800 km. A very moving film, well worth seeing.

For some reason the Spanish theme stuck and it was decided we all bring something spanish to eat before the film. The meny turned ot to be tapas, paella, and pudding, which was my contribution, a spanish apple pie. First time ever that I did something like this but here it is, and a success it was.
