Swole Santa

Today was one of those days where I really wanted to get out of the house but the weather wasn't playing and anything else I wanted to no wasn't going to work out.  So instead I finished painting the bannisters.  All done now, except going over a couple of areas on the spindles where I had a few drips.

After that I really needed to get out so suggested to P that we head to Lanark for a bit of cake and to scout the charity jobs for jigsaws.  I've been hankering after a hot chocolate all week and finally got a rather good one from the Duke's Deli, then picked up a Ravensburger for £3.50.  Bargain. 

The vegan cafe in Lanark has closed down and has been shuttered up.  The local gym seems to have put up this mural with a buff santa claus.  Not sure why paddington is there though.
