Cultural fix in the sticks
An interesting start to the day at Mum's, I kept finding pairs of knickers... In the cutlery drawer, under a cushion, 2 pairs in the box of colouring pens..... The list goes on. Mum had breakfast, then I walked Indie, mild but flat grey skies. BBC weather got that right.
Bavers arrived at 11am bearing a lovely bunch of homegrown alstromeria for Mum, plus 3 colouring in books that her daughter, Sophie, had found in charity shops. Mum was very happy.
We drove up the Teign Valley to Christow to visit the Doddiscombsleigh Art Show. A fantastic show, very well attended. We stopped for coffee & cake. Thick mizzle as we drove back but the colours in the Teign Valley running alongside the river Teign were stunning.
Back at Mum's another coffee & toasted hot cross bun before Bavers gave Mum's hair a trim.
A good day.
Good Strictly tonight... Who is going to go then?
