Handmade in Shropshire
Mr HB's #2 son R arrived at midday from Hampshire and shortly afterwards they both went out for lunch in the cafe/restaurant owned by R's Sister in Law and afterwards Mr HB took R for a drive round the town which R said had changed considerably in size and looked quite different from when he used to live here in the '80s. They dropped me off at another cafe where I met up with two friends from my old work, one of whom retired soon after me and the other is still working there, so you can imagine there was alot of ground to cover! N and I polished off a bottle of very nice local Rose wine whilst C had a couple of Peronis and we all enjoyed very good toasted sandwiches. These super tote bags are made by the cafe owner's daughter and are for sale. I resisted but did buy some locally made gingerbread which apparently our town is very famous for.
I cooked tonight and father and son are still deep in conversation at after 11pm. Think I'll slip away to bed, and read for a bit.
