Celebration

I planned to have a long lie. That didn't work. Woke early as and listened to podcasts and eventually gave in and got up. 

Tried to work out what to wear tonight and then worked, most of the day. There was an interlude when L came and out me through my paces. I got a lot done, even started on the funding application that has to be in by Friday.

Today's main event was F and E's wedding do, me the 2 GS and Y and J. Taxi was late but that didn't really matter once we got there. It was very much a DIY wedding in a church hall. Great mix of folk, free bar, lovely food (including gingerbread cake) and fab music (live band). I even danced to the Proclaimers, oh and the Beatles and the Monkees and Tina Turner and Abba!

Taxi home was much easier. I'm lucky to have such lovely neighbours. 

Janey Godley died today. So glad I got to see her earlier this year  At peace now.
