Swans seemed to be doing some courtship at lunchtime so I waited a short while, and they soon mated. Photo evidence, but not from the best angle. Afterwards the male hurtled to the far end of the lochan, paused, hurtled back to his mate, who gave him the cold shoulder, he hurtled back to the opposite side, paused and hurtled back again.
They're very late this year. Bit strange, as they built a nest at the usual time, after the middle of March, but there have been no eggs so far. Perhaps soon, after the above.
