Basketball!

Grandson Nik plays basketball for Lewis and Clark in Portland OR.  Today they were in Seattle for a pre season game at Seattle Pacific University.    But I wasn’t there!…. (photos from his parents) ..first basketball game I‘ve ever missed due to illness, but Im on triple diuretics and couldn’t get up the bleachers.  Disappointing, but H says it was a crappy game.  Nik only got a few minutes but there he is with a 3 pointer (#20, arm raised).   It would irritate me to not see him get to play, even tho he has patiently explained to me that it’s  OK..he gets to play lots, basketball isn’t his reason for living and he loves his teammates.   Home to spend the night with family and back to college and another game tomorrow.
