Bray Air Show

We had a brilliant day with our friends in Bray, beginning with lunch alfresco and continuing with the Air Show. We'd been on the beach for this event last year (and this blip is so like last year's that I may just have to change it), but this time we went a little bit up Bray Head to an excellent viewing spot above the end of the beach.

Some of the acts were better than others, but all in all it was a really enjoyable experience, made all the better because the weather had got better and better as the day went on, so that conditions were perfect for the most part.

when we got back to our friends' place it was to find their next-door neighbours there. We had a great time with them, tossing back beers in the sunshine and chatting and chatting and chatting. Time went by, we said we'd go after 'one more' several times, we were fed again, we had some more beers, we missed the last DART and finally got a taxi back to Carl's place.
