The wind farm

Love them of loath them? This is the proposed site for the electricity hub which will redirect a lot of the energy generated through off shore wind farms in the North sea. I can think of worse eyesores and prefer them to gasometers. I do think they have to be sensibly located and living very close to one can't be much fun - the noise can be problematic I believe.

No more photos with the long lens. It has only had occasional use in the last year since it was bought but I was getting an intermittent and then permanent message saying that the lens could not make a connection and to check for dirt. The lens seemed very clean and polishing the connection had no effect. I don't know if any blippers have had a similar problem with a Panosonic lens. My other lens work fine. It has had to go back under warranty and it is touch and go whether I will get it back before I leave these shores. If I have to do without it, that will be a real pain!
