Networking history

Sorting through the things emptied out of the filing cabinet; found a paper copy of this publication. It describes Hewlett Packard Research Laboratories implementation of networking between HP's sites. At this point (1987) I had moved from HP in S Queensferry to HPLabs in Bristol.  It doesn't seem to be online already, so this is now posted at my blog .

Leaves in the extra.  Went out via George V park for a newspaper and milk. Mild morning, 10C, less wind than yesterday.  Walk later to Inverleith to check on swans (two, as usual) and tufted ducks .. 5 or so.
