A rather unusual day!

Really not much happening today as Martin is feeling extreme fatigue and has been resting lots. He even came home early from work yesterday as he felt so bad.

Around 2:30pm, he noticed his ankle was quite swollen, and that really upset him. Enough to say that the combination of all the fatigue, shivering, severe joint pain and swollen ankle prompted him to go to emergency in Noosa!!!

Where we spent the next 3 1/2 hrs. He reckoned he had Ross River Virus, which is a very debilitating mosquito borne disease. He has been hiking and has said that mossies have bitten him. They did full blood works, and came back with some sort of viral infection, but not yet sure what it is. Martin has to see our GP on Monday to get the full results.

Goodness me … my poor Martin! Really hope it isn’t anything too serious. His joint pain is unreal!
