IN TANDEM

I slept pretty well last night and didn't feel too bad this morning, the throat is good too - yeah!!!!

We went over to Morecambe to see Mum.  After unpacking and putting away the shopping that we had got for her we decided to go to Dunelm for a coffee and a mooch.  

Boy was it busy.   However we got our coffee and cake after a while.  To be fair they had a good system going and of course cappuccino's, lattes etc take a while to do anyway. After coffee and cake we had a mooch around the store and got a little bit of shopping.  

Then went back to Mum's for a chat and a bit later a very light lunch.  

On the way home we stopped off on The Prom when I heard an engine over head.  I understand they can be called Powered Hang Gliders or Nanolites!!!!

Anyway I got a couple of shots of them.  Took a few more along the beach but it was so very grey it was difficult to get much really.

Now home and will be getting ready to watch The Footage Detectives on Talking Pictures at 5.00 pm before Sunday Roast and Strictly.  I don't always watch the results show as it drives me nuts the length of time it takes but the dancing is always good and very occasionally I like the music act.  They are all much of a muchness now  so I think we could be in for a bit of a shock exit tonight.  Well it's that time in the series, it happens every year doesn't it but time will tell.

I'm finding I'm, of course, loving Chris McCausland, how Dianne manages to teach him at all as he has no reference, and no idea what a Tango is or any other dance come to that and he still manages to do it well.  I 'm also finding I'm rather liking Wynn - he is doing much better than I thought and he's not a bad dancer.  All the others are pretty good too so we will see.  They called  this week ICONS of music, well to me a  lot of them were great Pop/Rocks  stars but not may were actually iconic!!!!  Then I am old and old fashioned so what do I know!!!

I  wish them all luck and hope they enjoy the experience that many of us would give our eye teeth for!!!
