Quilt layout

Just to give an idea of scale, these are five and a half inch squares of fabric placed on a flannelette sheet on the wall of the studio at myBearpaw where I was doing my first workshop in quilt making. The idea behind this was to work out the layout of the squares for the quilt. We didn't finish so will be going back next Sunday for another session. My brain is a bit frazzled as it was an all day workshop but think quilting is something I might get hooked by.
