Fresh Air

Euan and his Mum were in need of a quiet Sunday after their return from holiday in Denmark yesterday, so it was a quiet start to the day beginning with reading the Beano in bed to give Mum a lie in.  After breakfast there was some game playing and lego building before we set out for the local park, keeping up with Euan on his bike.

First stop was the new crazy golf with one hole in particular causing some issues, but a team effort of Granny and Euan finally managed to hit the ball hard enough for it to fly through the swirly tube and finish a hole in one!  It was time for lunch in the new cafe, which was very nice, then off to the playground for some goes on the zipwire, swings and slide.  We had a very pleasant conversation with a woman who told us she lived in Bath but was originally from Macedonia, whilst Euan played with her daughters.  Then it was time to turn for home with the whole family being involved in Lego building for some time prior to watching a movie before dinner.

Euan's Dad remained in Denmark on a business trip so we will have the job of getting Euan to school and collecting him tomorrow.  I think a second breakfast at Gails in the city will probably be on the cards too.
