I started my day taking Tam to Stroud for her final dress fitting. 

The lovely lady in there  asked if I would like a video made to show me how to do the dress up on the day which I poo pooed at the time. How difficult can it be to do up a dress? Halfway through my instruction/demo course I was slightly regretting being so flippant. 

A few emotional tears seeing her in it  ...

I then on getting home had to bake Parkin. I've made it before without a problem but today's results left a lot to be desired. I think it was the shape of the tin as it needed to be thicker so therefore less dry. I don't normally have total disasters on the baking front but am going to try again - it's not difficult!
