Toots in Solitude

By Toots

After breakfast and ablutions Donald and I set off for a wander over to Easter Craiglockhart Hill.
We haven't been in a wooded environment for such a long time and wondered why we had left it so long, we loved the walk and recalled the numerous times we had traipsed all around this area during lockdown.
We obviously didn't tackle the hills this time but kept along Happy Valley Way where the Swan and her cygnets at one stage took off in noisy flight, their powerful wings shaking the air like some storm.
There was a burnt out motorbike lying next to the pond which we were told had been stolen from local area by a joyrider and then burnt!!! Madness! The fire brigade were called to attend to it this morning.
Then Sunday papers were bought and chicken stew consumed.
In extra 'Where's Donald?'
