Poppies

The knitting ladies have been busy again. There are a lot more poppies than last year. Someone passing by told me that the purple ones are for the animals killed in service. Norm’s Great uncle was leading a horse carrying an important army member when either he or the horse stepped on a mine. All 3 of them were killed. It good that the animals are thought of too.
