Up North

Unsurprisingly I slept pretty well, though my left leg told me it regretted the jumping up and down last night.

I sorted the packing for the next couple of days and then walked down to Margiotta to treat myself to croissants. Then I updated the info for my IFA.

That done sorted there house and the suitcase and eventually set off. Had to come off the road to sort the tyre pressure, warning lights that light up randomly are worse than useless, before heading north. As we got to Perth the cold, grey skies lifted and was the most beautiful run north, blue cloudless skies, sun, golden trees.

Then I hit the roadworks after Perth. A very slow drive past non existent workmen, more roadworks coming into Dundee and the usual jam at the Aberdeen turn off. But I eventually got to Inverurie before 3.30.

Popped in to Middlepark to see V and C to congratulate them on their Golden Wedding and handover a wee gift and big card.

Then to the Port and my 'digs'. Quick change, K arrived bearing a Christmas card, and of we were to Siesta for tapas. It was very jolly with ok food, lots of wine, good craic and another card, and it's only 3 November!

Back to A's. We watched some TV, N came home and then bed. Much chat on drugs, illnesses and Trust Funds. It must be an age thing!
